Today, let’s meet Emmanuel, a passionate driver guide who will introduce you to the Swiss Alps! Emmanuel was born on the shores of Lake Geneva. He spent his childhood in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. He started developing an in-depth knowledge of the French and Swiss Alps. His atypical career led him to work in the Riviera Vaudoise in Switzerland, as a driver and concierge in some of the most luxurious hotels. His love of the many enchanting sites dotting the banks of Lake Geneva allowed him to start his own company in 2014. He will accompany you to the most beautiful attractions of the region. As an independent professional driver limousine, I started to develop a new concept of professional tourist transport for a private clientele wishing to organize their stay in Switzerland, France and Italy. I propose my multitasks skills: organizing, driving and assistance to my guests on the most beautiful tourist spots in the Alps during their Europe road trip.
I suggest outdoors visits, with new winter experiences dogs sledding and snowshoes activity with my local partners. Cable cars companies are open in Switzerland; we have the chance to enjoy time without to much people on mountain summits. Most of restaurants are closed and I propose a deluxe winter picnic with the view of fabulous snowy landscapes. I equipped my Mercedes V Class 250 Van, with Plexiglas passenger driver protection, masks and disinfectant products are available in car.
The Summit of Schilthorn (9740 ft) with its breathtaking panoramic views is today one of the top attractions of the Jungfrau region. It is definitely one of my favourite. If you are a fan of James Bond, chances are good you’re familiar with the cable car and revolving restaurant on Schilthorn. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service movie was filmed at Murren.
Yes, there is Lavaux vineyard terraces from Vevey to Lausanne, these wines were grown from the 11th century. A walk through the vineyards offers some of the best views of Lac Leman with spectacular colors of each moment of the day. Spend time in old typical cellar with a glass of wine is most to do at the end of the day.
Being professional includes essential attributes such as being honest, well groomed, punctual, flexible, attentive, and courteous and driving safe of course!
Bagnes Raclette is a prestigious melted cheese plate from Valais canton. Its notoriety is linked to the preservation of a very old tradition. The cheeses are made in the summer on the nearby pastures. I propose this kind of plate with dry meat, chalet soup (in winter) and a good local wine.
- Discovering Lavaux Vineyard and visit castle of Chillon in Montreux.
- Enjoying on Gornergrat train with the amazing view of Matterhorn mountain.
- Getting lost in the Bern city, capital of Switzerland.
- Spiritual time in the famous St Maurice Abbey.
- “Meet the people” with a cheese maker in Gruyéres and a wine maker in Lavaux.
- Hiking with the St Bernard dog in Valais.
Once again, “Meet the people” is one of my favourite activity. It’s a great experience to meet local artisans in the Swiss Alps.
