You have several destinations you can choose from like winter sports, different regions.

For example, you have the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland. The train will cross 4 big regions like Lucerne where there is the Lake of Lucerne which offers a magnificent landscape with all its mountains which surround it.

Interlaken is a winter paradise where many magical moments are waiting to be discovered. Amidst the snow-covered peaks and the glittering lake landscape, a magical natural idyll awaits you. You can go on a winter hike or ski.

Next, the town of Brig, which is located in the Upper Valais, at the foot of the Simplon Pass. Its lively old quarter is surrounded by stately homes and comfortable inns. The main street is ideal for shopping and the nearby Stockalper Palace is an impressive example of baroque style.

Next destination, Zermatt! It is located at the foot of the Matterhorn and this snow-sure resort offers a lot of original character and unlimited possibilities.

Travel on the Glacier Express, the world’s slowest express train. This journey is an unforgettable experience surrounded by a breathtaking backdrop of mountain panoramas. You will pass through untouched landscapes via the Oberalp Pass and the Rhine Gorge.

Finally, board the Bernina Express in Saint-Moritz for an enchanting and magical journey past mighty glaciers and snow-covered high mountain lakes before descending through a winter wonderland to Italian-speaking Poschiavo.

Our favorite hotel is the hotel Les Hauts de Gstaad Golf Hotel & Spa. This hotel is located on one of Gstaad’s sun terraces. The spacious rooms provide guests with breathtaking views of the mountains. The downhill skiing and cross-country areas are just a short walk from the hotel. You can recover from the stresses of daily life in the over 1000 m2 of the go-wellness area. The Wellness Centre consists of a saunapark, a swimming pool, fitness centre and 10 cubicles for wellness and beauty treatment cubicles.

If you’re keen to travel with your family my suggestion would be the Pradas Resort, in Brigels. It consists of 16 buildings with wooden and stone facades. The apartments are furnished in a modern alpine style, with oak parquet floors, open kitchens, comfortable sitting areas, flat-screen TVs. This resort has a wellness area and indoor pool. Forget about the car as the resort is that it is located right in the ski area,very  close to the ski school and the hiking trails.
