THE FESTIVAL OF LEMONS
| Every year the lemon festival takes place. In 2023, the festival will take place from February 11 to 26, under an azure sky and temperatures close to 20°c. Every year it attracts more than 200,000 international visitors.
This festival exists since 1875 and since the festival triumphs every year. Menton is therefore the first producer of citrus fruits of the continent. Today, there are 180 tons of citrus fruits to make the impressive parade floats that are used for the carnival of the city. These floats are built in only 2 weeks. |
A DIVERSIFIED FESTIVAL EVERY YEAR
| Of course, there are things not to be missed such as the citrus patterns exhibition in the Biovès gardens which is really impressive. On some days this visit is possible at night.
