The Basque Country is a beautiful region in the southwest of France which is located in two countries: France and Spain. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. |
This splendid region is very famous for its succulent gastronomy. You can taste Bayonne Ham, cold meats, sardines and anchovies, shellfish like sole. On the Spanish side, You can not miss Bilbao. This city has an industrial side, especially the Guggenheim museum which is known for its original architecture. This museum evokes contemporary art, with its 20 galleries spread on 3 floors.
